Announcements

  • Men's Group

    Men’s Group will meet at 8:30 am.  The next meeting is Sat, 11/17.  Come and enjoy some food, teaching, fellowship, and discussion.  We will be discussing men's issues in the community and the church, how we  are doing as a man, husband and dad, and evaluate where we stand in our duties and how we can grow with the help of the group, our church, and our Lord. 

  • Free Narcan Training

    A free Narcan training will take place on Tuesday, November 27 @ 6:30 pm.  The training is free, but registration is required. Please click that you are going to register, call 518-842-2363, or email saintannsamsterdam@gmail.com.

    Naloxone has been fundamental in the efforts to decrease rates of fatal overdoses. This training teaches first responders, likely opioid overdose witnesses and community members to understand, recognize, respond to and reverse opioid overdoses using a naloxone rescue kit. Participants will receive a free naloxone rescue kit after completing the training. This training is modeled after the evidence-based SAMHSA Opioid Overdose Prevention Toolkit.

  • Women's Holiday Dinner

    All women of St. Ann’s are invited to a Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year’s get together on Thursday, 11/29 at Nicolino’s Restaurant, Route 30, Amsterdam beginning at 6:00 pm.  Everyone is responsible for their own dinner & beverages $5.00 Grab Bag Gift.  Sign up by November 18th on Bulletin Board in Parish Hall.

  • Morning Prayer w/Exposition and Benediction

    Morning Prayer with Benediction will be celebrated at 10 am.  The next service is Thursday 12/6. This will be a combination of quiet meditation and prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and Morning Prayer, concluding with Benediction.

  • Advent Taize Service

    An Advent Taize Service will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 6:00 pmA Taizé worship service involves sung and chanted prayers, meditation, a period of silence, liturgical readings, and icons. There is no preaching. The style of prayer practiced at Taizé has attracted many worshipers from around the globe and from many different denominations. The prayers consist of “short chants, repeated again and again,” according to an introduction in a Taizé songbook. “The words are sung over many times.”

  • Year End Giving

    All year end giving must be received by Sunday, December 23 in order to be deposited and recorded on your giving statement for 2018. 

  • Angelhead Children's Play

    Angelhead, a children’s Christmas play will be presented by our Sunday School children on Sun, 12/23 at the conclusion of the 9:30 am service.  Please plan to attend. 

  • Hanging of the Greens

    We will decorate the church for Christmas after the children's play on Sunday, December 23.  

  • HOLIDAY CLOSING

    The Parish Offices will be closed beginning Tuesday, December 25 and will reopen Wednesday, January 2.  All year end giving and requests for reimbursement must be received by Thursday, December 20 in order to be processed in 2018.
