Announcements

  • Follow Bible Study

We are doing an 8 week study entitled Follow.  Lots of people think Christianity is all about doing what Jesus says. But what if doing what Jesus says isn’t what Jesus says to do at all? Jesus’ invitation is an invitation to relationship, and it begins with a simple request: follow me.  In this eight-session Andy Stanley takes small groups on a journey through the Gospels as he traces Jesus’ teaching on what it means to follow.  Please join us on Wednesday at 10 am, Thursday at 6 pm, or Sunday at 11 am.

  • Women's Prayer Group

Women's Prayer Group will meet the 4th Thursday at 6 pm.  The next meeting is Thurs, 1/25.  This will be a time of fellowship, prayer and study.

  • Notice of Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 8:50 am for the purpose of electing individuals to serve on Vestry.  Polls will open at 7 am.

  • Men's Group

Men’s Group will meet the 1st Saturday at 8:30 am.  The next meeting is Sat, 2/3. Come and enjoy some food, teaching, fellowship, and discussion.  We will be discussing men's issues in the community and the church, how we  are doing as a man, husband and dad, and evaluate where we stand in our duties and how we can grow with the help of the group, our church, and our Lord.

A Lenten Taize Service will be held on Tuesday, February 27 at 6:30 pm.  A Taizé worship service involves sung and chanted prayers, meditation, a period of silence, liturgical readings, and icons. There is no preaching. The style of prayer practiced at Taizé has attracted many worshipers from around the globe and from many different denominations. The prayers consist of “short chants, repeated again and again,” according to an introduction in a Taizé songbook. “The words are sung over many times.”
