Announcements

  • 8 am Service Cancellation - Sunday, May 20

There will be NO 8 am service on Sunday, May 20.  Please join us at 9:30 am for our celebration of the Feast of Pentecost and Stewardship Committment Sunday.  We will have a fellowship brunch following the service.

  • Grace Bible Study

Grace: More Than We Deserve, Greater Than We Imagine

We often talk as though we know what grace means. But do we really understand it? Have we settled for wimpy grace? It politely occupies a phrase in a hymn, fits nicely on a church sign. Never causes trouble or demands a response. When asked, "Do you believe in grace?" who could say no?

Max Lucado asks a deeper question: Have you been changed by grace? Shaped by grace? Strengthened by grace? Emboldened by grace? Softened by grace? Snatched by the nape of your neck and shaken to your senses by grace? Grace is the voice that calls us to change and then gives us the power to pull it off. Let's make certain grace gets you.

This study meets on Wednesdays at 10 am and Thursdays at 6 pm.

  • Blessed Life Bible Study

What is the secret to accessing the abundant life God promises? In perhaps the greatest sermon of his ministry, Jesus gives us the keys to the Kingdom; a life of wholeness, happiness, and healing.

In this 6-session video study, Pastor Rick Warren examines the Beatitudes and explores the practical steps to lead you to peace and fulfillment in your life, your work, and your relationships.

This study meets on Sundays at 11 am.

  • Women's Prayer Group

Women's Prayer Group will meet the 4th Thursday at 6 pm.  The next meeting is WEDNESDAY, 5/30 at Kitty's home.  Please note the date and location change.  This will be a time of fellowship, prayer and study.

  • Morning Prayer w/Exposition and Benediction

Morning Prayer with Benediction will be celebrated at 10 am.  The next service is Thursday 6/7.  This will be a combination of quiet meditation and prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and Morning Prayer, concluding with Benediction.

  • Confession

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will be celebrated on Sunday, 6/17 between the services at the side Altar.  Purple booklets containing the service and a preparation guide are available in the back of the church.

  • Free Narcan Training

A free Narcan training will take place on Tuesday, July 24 @ 6:30 pm.  The training is free, but registration is required. Please click that you are going to register, call 518-842-2363, or email saintannsamsterdam@gmail.com.

Naloxone has been fundamental in the efforts to decrease rates of fatal overdoses. This training teaches first responders, likely opioid overdose witnesses and community members to understand, recognize, respond to and reverse opioid overdoses using a naloxone rescue kit. Participants will receive a free naloxone rescue kit after completing the training. This training is modeled after the evidence-based SAMHSA Opioid Overdose Prevention Toolkit.
