Announcements

  • The Apostles Creed Bible Study

The Apostles’ Creed was born from the apostles’ teachings. It contains essential doctrines and beliefs that summarize the gospel and the foundation of our faith. The scriptural truths contained in the creed enable us to build our Christian lives on good theology, with the knowledge that our faith is rooted in truth and a rich history.

The lines of the creed aren’t mere words. They are the essence of what we confess and believe. Repeating the creed doesn’t make disciples. Incantations don’t transform us into better, more effective Christians. Creeds don’t hold any authority apart from Scripture, but they do point outside themselves to the authoritative Word of God.

Our studies meet on Wednesday at 10 am, Thursday at 6 pm, and Sunday at 11 am.

  • Women's Prayer Group

Women's Prayer Group will meet the 4th Thursday at 6 pm.  The next meeting is Thurs, 9/28.  This will be a time of fellowship, prayer and study.

  • Morning Prayer w/Exposition and Benediction

  • Men's Group

Men’s Group will meet the 1st Saturday at 8:30 am.  The next meeting is Sat, 10/7. Come and enjoy some food, teaching, fellowship, and discussion.  We will be discussing men's issues in the community and the church, how we  are doing as a man, husband and dad, and evaluate where we stand in our duties and how we can grow with the help of the group, our church, and our Lord.

  • Healing Eucharist

A Healing Eucharist will take place on Tuesday, October 17 at 6:30 pm. This service will begin with contemporary praise and worship music and Eucharist will be celebrated.   Prayer will be offered for those in need of healing or any other needs and reconciliation (confession) will also be celebrated.

The preacher will be Mrs. Patti Gibbons.  Patti is currently part of a church plant in Albany where she lives with her husband.  She has spent a good chunk o her adult life as a youth minister in a number of settings, but has done other interesting work also.  Her goal in life to to make herself a resource in any way she can to see more people know Christ and make Him known.
